Meet Tom Wood
Training Built on Experience
Tom Wood is a leading expert in Integrated Product Support (IPS) and Chairman of the Australian Chapter of the Council of Logistics and Engineering Professionals (CLEP), a globally recognised organisation advancing international alignment in IPS training and practice.
With over 17 years of distinguished service as a senior officer in the UK Army, Tom has demonstrated exceptional leadership and operational expertise across military, government, private industry, and not-for-profit sectors. In 2010, he mentored Afghan Army logistics teams during active combat, and by 2014 was leading the UK’s logistics officer training school. His contribution to the war in Afghanistan earned him two ministerial commendations for rapid product acquisition – ultimately improving capability and savings lives. Having since attained Executive Director level in big four consultancies, Tom now leads content creation to bring the highest quality of material and teaching to students of the Academy.
Proven Authority
With over 17 years of service, including as a senior officer in the UK Army, Tom has led logistics mentoring programs, worked alongside the Australian Army, and even trained the Afghanistan Army during active combat in 2010.
